CANNETE’ AND SCULPTING RELIEFS
The term “Canneté” means a particular decorative technique that is characterised by a series of narrow repetitive grooves, created by means of different production processes and the use of specifically chosen material combinations. Today, the world of fashion, design, art and architecture continue to re-imagine and re-invent “Cannettato” or “Ribbed” in original forms, drawing inspiration from the past and creating items that are both unique and “recognisable” thanks to this distinctive timeless style.
Oasis will showcase its interior design “vision” at the Salone del Mobile 2019, promoting its coordinated global image that centres around the use of “Canneté” in furniture pieces and “works of art”, all exquisitely and carefully crafted using expert combinations of materials and finishings.
